Gulab Jamun ( পান্তুয়া)



One of the Indian sweets, Gulab Jamun is an authentic Indian sweet made from deep-fried milk balls in a sugary syrup. They are flavoured with cardamom and rose water and served hot or cold. This is one of the most famous desserts in India and very famous in North India.

There are many variations in the Gulab Jamun recipe. These are made from thickened milk, which is called khoya (Khoa). Gulab Jams can be found throughout India, although they originated in the city of Lucknow. These have a lot of variations, but today I am sharing the traditional version of it.
